Privacy policy

Privacy policy statement about the processing of personal data – Disclosure Document pursuant to and in accordance with the Article 13, Legislative Decree No. 30 June 2003 No. 196.

In compliance with the Legislative Decree 30 June 2003 No. 196 (Privacy Code) and subsequent changes, we hereby provide you with the necessary information about the processing of personal data you provided us. This privacy policy statement is not intended to be effective for other websites accessible through links provided on websites themselves of which domain ownership are under the name of the data controller, who has not to be considered in any way responsible for third parties’ websites. This privacy policy statement is also pursuant to Article 13 of the Legislative Decree No. 196/2003 – Code of the protection of personal data. This privacy policy statement is also based on Recommendation No. 2/2001, which was adopted on 17 May 2001 by the European authorities in compliance with data protection regulations collected within the Group established by the article 29 of Directive No. 95/46/EC, adopted on 17 May 2001 to establish the minimum requirements for processing personal data (and collection of personal data online) and particularly the way, timing and nature of the information that data controllers have to provide to users when they access to websites, regardless of the purpose of it, as well as to what is set forth in the Directive 2002/58/EC, as revised by the Directive 2009/136/EC, with regard to Cookies.

Location of the data processing
The processing related to this website web-services, (physically “hosted” by a third party company) takes place in the data controller company’s headquarters and are handled only by the staff in charge of processing or by any external parties for either the updating or maintenance carried out on the site.

Cookies

Types of cookies
There are two types of cookies “session cookies” and “persistent cookies”. The former, once downloaded, are then deleted from the cache when the user closes the Browser. This website uses only Google Analytics cookies and technical session cookies to allow the user a better navigation. This site does not use cookies profiling.

3. PURPOSES OF ‘DATA PROCESSING’
Consent for handling data is given upon request (pursuant to Article 23 of Legislative Decree 196/03). Personal Data and possibly sensitive data, provided on the user’s own accord will be processed for the following purposes, unless the user oppose to it:

– navigate this site;
– any request for contact together with sending information requested on the user part;
– send technical, administrative or commercial informative material;

– give effect to the activation and maintenance of the subscribed service;
– the processing of administrative and accounting purposes are those related to administration-accounting in general. For the purpose of complying with legal provisions regarding the protection of personal data, the processing performed for administration-accounting purposes are those connected with the performance of organizational, administrative, financial and accounting tasks, regardless of the nature of the data processed. 4. DATA PROCESSING METHODS – STORAGE
The data will be kept for a period not exceeding the purposes for which the data was collected and subsequently processed. The processing of data will be carried out automatically and/or manually, with methods and instruments which ensure maximum security and confidentiality and by people authorised to do so in compliance with a provision of the article 31 et seq. Legislative Decree 196/03.The data will be stored for a period no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the data was collected and subsequently processed.

5. PURPOSE OF COMMUNICATION AND DISCLOSURE

Your data subject to processing will not be disclosed. Nevertheless, it might be disclosed to companies abroad within the European Union contractually bound to Sacchi Elettronica srl in accordance with and within the limits of the provisions of the Article 43 and 44 letter b of Legislative Decree 196/2003 with the purpose of complying with contractual obligations or purposes connected with them. Data may be disclosed to third parties who belong to the following categories:

– people who provide services for the management of the compute information system used by Sacchi Elettronica srl and telecommunications networks (including e-mails);
– firms or companies that provide assistance and consultancy;

– competent authorities for the fulfilment of legal obligations and/or provisions issued by public bodies, on request.

People belonging to the aforementioned categories are in charge of the data processing, or are self employed and work as Data Controllers. Any further communication or disclosure will occur only if the user gives prior express consent to it.

6. NATURE OF PROVISION OF DATA AND REFUSAL
Apart from what specified for navigation data, the user is free to provide personal data. The provision of his/her personal data for the purposes described above is needed in order to enjoy the services requested. Those users who fail to provide it might not be granted what requested or enjoy the services of the data controller.

Pursuant to this Article the user has the right to order the dilation, the transformation into anonymous form or the blocking of data processed unlawfully, as well as in any case, to oppose the processing of data for legitimate reasons. Should the user contact the data controller he/she would have to provide the e-mail address, name, address and/or telephone numbers, in order to ensure the request will be dealt with properly.

8. PRIVACY POLICY CHANGES
The owner of data reserves the right to modify, update, add, or remove parts of this privacy policy statement at his/her discretion at any time. The person concerned is required to check periodically for any changes. In order to facilitate such checks the policy shall display the date of its last update. Browsing the site, after the changes have been posted will constitute acceptance of such changes.
